The village Vremski Britof, in which the Tourist farm with sleeping Jankovi, Divača, is situated, lies in the centre of the river Reka valley, also known as the Vreme valley. Vremski Britof lies six kilometres from Divača, the nearest town, in the direction of Ilirska Bistrica. The closest junction on the motorway connecting Ljubljana (the capital) and the coast is also found in Divača. In other words, the tourist farm Jankovi is situated in the south-west part of Slovenia, where the coastal, carstic and continental regions meet. Vremski Britof is 30 kilometres from Koper, 18 from Sežana, 35 from Trieste (Italy) and 80 from Ljubljana and Rijeka (Croatia).
ABOUT VREMSKI BRITOF
Vremski Britof is a small village, lying in the centre of the Vreme valley, which is surrounded by the plateau Brkini in the south and the mountain Vremščica in the north. The village is located on the top of a hill, which grants a wonderful view of the south part of the valley. Under the hill runs the river Reka, which disappears underground only a kilometre further downstream into the caves of Škocjan, one of the most beautiful and greatest underground natural caves in Europe, also protected by UNESCO. Because of its small size, Vremski Britof has a very relaxing, tranquil aura. Furthermore, the tourist farm Jankovi is situated far enough from the main road to make nearby traffic insignificant.

We are located only a thirty minute drive from the Slovenian as well as the Italian coast with Trieste as the centre of the Italian region that borders Slovenia. As a result, our guests can easily reach the coast with its beaches as well as its historical centres, despite not being lodged right next to it, but in a much more tranquil hinterland.
