Saksida wine and camping resort, Vipava Valley, offers space for up to 15 motor homes and 15 tents, with showers, restroom facilities, and electrical hook up. Visitors can also take advantage of a large covered picnic area. Wireless internet is available and the nearest store is just one kilometre away.

This Vipava Valley has a cycling route for every time of the year that is worth visiting. There are many easy, but still picturesque, routes that are suitable for beginner cyclists and families. You can borrow bicycles from us at Camp Saksida, while we can also arrange bicycle hire for more challenging cycling trips and also a guide.
There are several water sports also available to choose from. In the vicinity of the village of Zalošče flows the Vipava river, which, with its more leisurely flow, provides a unique experience in a tranquil way. Boating or stand-up paddling are suitable for the whole family. Those who enjoy a more adrenalin-filled experience will prefer the Soča river, the wild beauty, which offers its rapids for kayaking, whitewater rafting or canyoning. Both rivers offer many opportunities for fishing, while fisherman can also visit the Vogršček reservoir for additional fishing.
