Restaurant Liza, Bovec, expects all lovers of good and home-made food from May to September.
On the rich menu you will find mostly local home-made delicacies. The typical dish of the Isonzo Valley deserves special mention. These are čompe with cottage cheese (“čompe an skuta”). Čompe is the Slovenian term for potatoes, which means that it is basically a potato with cottage cheese, which will impress you with excellent taste.
The culinary offer also offers other dishes such as: dishes made with famous Isonzo trout, wild goulash with polenta, steaks, grilled food, salads and many other delicious meals.
Restaurant Liza, Bovec, is very popular among hikers and cyclists, because the restaurant is located along the Soča trail and along the Alpe Adria trail.
During the main season, there is also a small grocery store available inside the restaurant, where you can buy fresh bread daily and a lot of local products (sheep cheese, sheep yogurt, homemade honey).
