Inn Jaklic, overnight stay, private groups, homemade cuisine, Lower Carniola, is the oldest inn in Šentrupert and is located near the parish church of St. Rupert respectively. SHORT HISTORY
Alojz and Marija Jaklič the premises of the inn purchased after 1900, when they sold the farm in the Great Karlovic Lašče and moved in Šentrupert. Restaurant began operation in 1904. She culinary activities the family did not earn enough income so Alojz have started with the slaughter of livestock. Because we did not have electricity in the northern, shady plot p of “vicarage ” put freezer in which to store meat. They offer space for 80 people inside the vineyard cottage room for 90 people, in the outer part of Covered by 140 people. The cottage we furnace, where you can bake outside piglet, lamb or domestic chickens. Outdoor space is ideal for picnics, cold and warm buffets, while the cellar we organize wine tastings. The cottage we also offer accommodation to up to ten beds.

The inn is famous for its home cooking, in the winter we offer a winter feast : homemade sausages, black pudding, pork rib roast with various attachments such as homemade sauerkraut, sour turnips or Matthew…
In our diverse offer you will also find veal stew with buckwheat polenta, beef goulash, pot barley with local šinkom, Jota with turnips or sauerkraut, goulash and others.
