We will venture inland to discover Brač’s hidden treasures, where ancient olive groves and vineyards carpet the rolling hillsides. The history is best seen at the oldest settlement on Brač, Škrip which exudes an ancient charm, with its stone houses, winding streets, and panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. The village of Škrip dates back to ancient times, its roots stretching back to Illyrian and Roman civilizations.

Stari Grad’s history dates back over two millennia, with its origins tracing back to the Greek settlement of Faros in the 4th century BC. Today, traces of its rich past are scattered throughout the town, from the remnants of a Greek defensive wall to the elegant Renaissance architecture that graces its streets.
We will take a walk along Kiklopska ulica (Cyclopean street) in the heart of Stari Grad which will transport us back in time with its ancient stones and cyclopean drywall and tavern.

A timeless jewel, sitting on the eastern shores of the island Korčula, captures an aura of medieval charm with its sturdy stone walls and fortified towers. The town, often reffered as ”small Dubrovnik” is one of the most important and best preserved urban complexes in the Adriatic. It sits gracefully overlooking the azure waters of the Adriatic Sea and it’s also the birthplace of Marco Polo. Built inside powerful defensive walls it gives an exciting and authentic picture of medieval architecture.

Our journey takes us to Pearl of the Adriatic, Dubrovnik. Steeped in history and surrounded by stunning natural beauty, Dubrovnik is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Walk through the Old Town, enclosed within towering stone walls that date back to the 13th century and you will discover perfectly perserved medieval city. Merchants, sailors and kings once walked within these same streets. Once a thriving merchant city, Dubrovnik played a significant role in the Mediterranean trade during the Middle Ages and the Renaissance and even rivaled Venice as a trading port.

Upon arrival bus will take us to Sanctuary, Walls of Ston, the museum of salt, the kars cave Nakovana and Greben Kopinja. We will stop at sun kissed vineyards and try some world known wines. You will also have time for shopping, so you can take a piece of Dalmatia home.

Ancient architeture, picturesque landscapes and the diverse tapestry of its cultural influences await in the ancient megalithic site Daorson, at Stolac, Bosnia and Herzegovina, where bus takes us next. This historical site is believed to have been the capital of the Illyrian tribe of Daorsi, who inhabited the area during the Classical period. This site is perfect for megalithic drywalls researchers and explorers.
